Fleet Information

STC operates a fleet of motor coaches to provide passenger transportation and parcel express services to the people of Saskatchewan. STC has made a concerted effort in the last 10 years to upgrade its fleet. Today, the Company has been operating the newest and most modern fleet since the 1970's. The average age of STC's 43 motor coaches is approximately 8.75 years. STC continues exploring the opportunity to add new models which are more fuel-efficient and can provide reliable services at a lower maintenance cost. MCI D4500

 

STC currently has nine of these coaches in service. The Company started to deploy these models in 2001. The newest addition was added in 2010. The D4500 is a 55-seater coach and the D4505 model contains 51 seats. Six of them have wheelchair accessibility lifts and all are equipped with washroom facilities in the rear of the bus. These coaches are also equipped with on-board media equipment, including a DVD player and TV monitors. Five of these coaches have 110 volt outlets, and fold down trays at six seat locations and interior and exterior security cameras. Several of these coaches are equipped with on-board Wi-Fi for our passenger's convenience.

MCI D4000

 

STC currently has two of this series of coaches in service. The Company first deployed this coach type in 2001 and added the last one in 2003. All of the D4000 coaches are 47-seater buses and are equipped with washroom facilities in the rear of the bus. These coaches are also equipped with on-board media equipment, including a DVD player or VCR, TV monitors and interior and exterior security cameras.
